Hello Family:
It has been a horrible 24 hours here in Arkansas. i thought i would update you all as to what mother nature did to our neck of the woods. we had a tornado last night about 5:30 and it pretty much wiped out the town of Gassville Arkansas which is where my mom lives. Grandma Shaffer lives about 10 miles away and had no damage and is doing fine. Mom and dad were extremely lucky and sustained no damage to their house or selves. it did, however, hit very hard less than a mile away from their house. I live about 10 miles the other way and we were very lucky to and it did not hit here.
I was worried you would here about us on the news and worry about mom and dad and grandma and i wanted to assure everyone that we are all fine. They have no power out thier way and probably will not for the next few days. Gassville is a very small town of about 2500 people and last night it was all pretty much demolished. There are still about 10 people missing from the area and hopefully they will be found today.
It is really hard to believe that this actually happened. I went there today to give bags of supplies to whoever needed them and started to cry for what i saw of the town. words and pictures cannot describe it. I will have mark post some of the pictures that i took this morning though.
Please pray for our friends and neighbors. we have had one die from the tornado last night and several injured and like i said 10 still missing. Again, mom and dad, Nikki and her family, Grandma shaffer, and all of us got out of it without any damages so we are the lucky ones.
Mom will probably update later. She is going to be staying at grandma's for the next few days until they got some power back to their house.
Love you all,
Gina
Hello all, i am just missing my brothers and sisters and other family so i thought i would get on and tell everyone hello and that i am missing them.
I hope everyone had a great holiday season. we did here. all the boys growing up so quickly including sam. we were missing aaron of course and i really mean missing him. i hate that he is so far away and grows up so much in between visits. i really want him to know us and hopefully later spend summers with the boys and what not. I do think of those things all the time, all our boys growing up to be close to eachother.
we had both boys birthdays in the past couple of months. trakker is now 4 and talon just turned 6. trakker had a party at the arcade here in town and had a lot of fun. although his dad was taking care of him the day before and let him get hurt so he litterally crawled around his party but still had fun. talon's party was a halloween party and all the kids dressed up for it so it was a lot of fun for the boy who celebrates halloween year long. he was Jack Skellington from The nightmare before christmas and trakker was a pirate and i was a black cat. sammy was Woody from Toy Story. i will get some pictures up from that so you can all see the three boys growing like weeds.
we are almost done with the addition. we are down to painting and floors and trim. hopefully by the end of february we will be all done. i am getting too anxious. but i want it done before turkey season as you all know my husband will quit whatever he is doing when hunting time comes around.
I really was just checking in and wanting to make sure everyone was okay. Mark---how is your new job going? working from home---good or bad? it has good points and bad points i am sure you will agree, but sometimes the bad points will make you want to pull your hair out.
I love you all.

Joe and Angel Bagley
Invite you to share in the joy of the marriage uniting their children!
This in from Dyan: Angel says they are fine there now, but coffeyville, about ten miles down the road had a huge oil spill from a refinery that went under water and the town is not only under water but crude oil also and it got into the rivers so they are really screwed. they have had people giving tetnus shots to everyone in both coffeyville and independence, where angel lives, but if those people were out walking around in those waters they need more than tetnus shots. angel said people were getting sick and rashes so who knows what else is in that contaminated water besides e-coli and hepatitis.
Please keep Joe and Angel Bagley in your thoughts. They are right in the middle of the flooding that is occuring in the midwest. Angel advised that their water treatment plant is closed so they are also out of drinkable water.
